If so, IrvinGQ now have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our Warehouse team in Letchworth, Hertfordshire. In return for your hard work, you can expect to receive a competitive salary, plus benefits.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will provide accurate prompt boxing, dispatch and receipt of all Parachute Assemblies as directed by the Group Leader in accordance with task requirements.
Responsibilities
- To dispatch and receive deliveries of packed/ unpacked parachutes.
- Check quantities, record numbers and store in relevant allocated locations in accordance with Company procedures
- Safe loading and unloading of lorries
- Washing and hanging of parachutes
- Safe and efficient operation of forklifts and machinery
- Responsible for independent check (QC Trained)
- General housekeeping
If you can work under pressure, are organised, with good time keeping this could be the ideal role for you. You will also require the following skills to succeed:
- Able to work alone as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management
- Attention to detail
- Able to be flexible with work hours and contribute to overtime if required
- Computer skills
- Must be physically fit
- Good written and oral skills
Required qualifications / experience
- Forklift license – desirable (Full Training will be given)
- Previous experience working as a warehouse operative would be beneficial
