We are currently looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our Bedford Distribution Centre on Fixed Term Contracts for our Peak trading period.
We offer a picking incentive which, based on performance, could you see you earning up to an additional £3.00 an hour on top of the base rate of £11.50 per hour!
We are currently recruiting for the below shifts:
- Monday-Friday Rotational Days= 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm
- Monday-Friday Nights= 10pm-6am*
- Night shift premium is £1.90 per hour, so the hourly rate will be £13.40, and do not forget the picking incentive of up to an additional £3 an hour!
The Fixed Term Contracts are until 22nd December 2023, however, we never want to lose amazing colleagues, so if your performance, attendance, and conduct meet our required standards, and you enjoy working here (and why wouldn’t you!?) then there is the opportunity to join the B&M family on a permanent contract.
Our busy Distribution Centres are the cogs that keep our wheels turning! Warehouse Operatives are responsible for serving our customers better than anyone else! We do this by getting the right stock, at the right time, to the right place.
Our Warehouse Operatives are team players who also thrive when working independently. Self-motivated with a can-do attitude, you will work at pace to meet the standards and hit the targets! The role can be physically demanding, however, rest assured it will keep you active.
Although experience is desirable, we are interested in candidates in all sectors including support/care workers and retail assistants. You will receive all the training and equipment to be a success!
