We require a full time Gardener/Handyman for a rural Estate outside Huntly, Aberdeenshire.
The work will include:
Extensive use of ride on mowers and strimming in the summer.
The candidate will need to be proficient in the use of power saws for wood clearance/tidying.
General tidying and garden maintenance duties; although please note this is not a position that requires plant knowledge beyond ability to plant and protect trees/shrubs and bulbs.
There will be also be maintenance duties to be carried out on the garden structures and the house and garages, which will include painting, staining and repairing.
Although this position is mainly described as above, there may be times when the successful candidate will be asked to support other tasks on the Estate.
The location is rural and therefore a manual driving licence and own transport is essential.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm
